Introducing My Buddy Shep

Shelties have been in my family just about all of my life.
But i never thought of a Shetland Sheepdog  or a Herding Sheltie until now.
I have had people tell me that they don't herd anymore.....
I am meeting tuns of people that do have Herding Shelties
with ribbons to prove their abilities in herding trials
I am excited to explore the possibilities?
Stay tuned as we create Sheps progress Journal

Shep is 6 months old now, he does ok at coming when called, he gets excited and doesn't pay a whole lot of attention to anyone just yet. He will also sit on occasion when called. He does real well at the "touch" game that my daughter plays with him,, he really loves that game!! she will say "touch" and have her hand out for him to come and touch with his nose.. does that perfect 98% of the time.  He got a mouth full of Chicken feathers today he is learning to be very fast to stay out from in front of a doe with kids. He still enjoys the idea of herding, even though he has no idea yet of what to do, he is always touching my ankles with his teeth. not hard only touching.  I can tell that he is very smart.
